01Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Flip Empire (package com.volkersstudio.flipempire, the "App") handles information. The App is developed and published by Volkers Studio (the "Developer", "we").
We do not ask you for any personal information and we have no user accounts. Flip Empire is a single-player game and your progress stays on your device. The only data leaving your device is anonymous usage statistics collected by Google Analytics for Firebase, which we use to understand how the game is played.
02Information we collect
The App never asks for a name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or any account credentials. There is no login, no registration, and no user profile on our side.
The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous usage statistics. It automatically collects:
- a randomly generated app instance identifier and, on Android, the advertising identifier provided by the device;
- in-app events — for example that a screen was opened, an item was sold, a business was bought, or a new wealth era was reached — together with the in-game numbers attached to them;
- technical information about the device and the app: model, operating system version, app version, language, and an approximate region derived from the IP address.
This information is not linked to your identity. We cannot use it to contact you or to recognise you personally. We use it only in aggregate, to see which parts of the game people enjoy, where they stop playing, and what to improve.
Google processes this data on our behalf as our service provider. Google's handling of it is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
03Information stored on your device
To let you continue where you left off, the App saves your game progress in the App's private storage on your device. This includes:
- in-game balance, owned items, businesses, investments and property;
- progress data such as taps, achievements, daily streak and unlocked areas;
- settings such as the chosen interface language and the sound on/off switch.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server and is not accessible to us. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data in Android Settings → Apps → Flip Empire → Storage, permanently deletes it.
04Network access
The game itself is fully playable without an internet connection. Prices, news and events shown inside the game are generated locally on your device and are entirely fictional — nothing is fetched from a server. An internet connection is used only to send the anonymous usage statistics described above; when you are offline they are stored on the device and sent later, or discarded.
05Advertising
This version of the App shows no third-party advertising and no advertising network receives data from it. If a future version introduces advertising, this section and the data disclosure above will be updated before that version is released.
06In-app purchases
This version of the App contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
07Permissions
The App requests only the minimum Android permissions it needs:
VIBRATE— haptic feedback when you tap and complete deals;INTERNET— sending anonymous usage statistics; game content itself is generated on the device;AD_ID— the advertising identifier read by Firebase Analytics; you can reset or delete it at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads;MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS— playback of the game's own sound effects.
The App does not access the microphone, camera, location, contacts, or files.
08Children
The App is a fictional business simulation and is not directed at children under 13, and is not listed in the Google Play family programme. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The usage statistics described above are anonymous and are not used to build profiles of individual players of any age.
09Content disclaimer
All companies, cryptocurrencies, prices, market news and events in Flip Empire are fictional and exist only within the game. Nothing in the App is financial advice, and no real money, real securities, or real cryptocurrencies are involved.
10Your choices & rights
The statistics we collect are anonymous and are not tied to your identity, so we cannot look up "your" data on request. You still have full control over it:
- reset or delete the advertising identifier in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads — this breaks the link between the app and any previously collected statistics;
- uninstalling the App stops all further collection and deletes every piece of game progress stored on your device;
- if you believe we hold data relating to you and want it removed, write to the address below and we will forward a deletion request to Google for the relevant identifier.
11Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App introduces advertising or in-app purchases, or starts collecting a category of data not listed above, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of a new version after such an update means you accept the revised policy.
